The Lorry Ladder has been designed following a risk assessment which showed that when transporting goods by either flat bed, articulated, or 8 wheel rigid trucks, there was often a need to access the flat bed of the vehicle.
Traditionally, drivers would use whatever means was available to climb onto the vehicle. However, this new safe access solution offers the following features and benefits:
Use with existing flat bed vehicle fleets including curtain side vehicles
Integral tie clamps the ladder firmly to the vehicle to prevent it slipping or moving during use
Handrail which extends 1m above the bed of the vehicle
Designed to be deployed at any position around the trailer
Lightweight and robust, it comes complete with easily installed brackets and lock for secure storage on vehicle.
Two standard sizes cover bed sizes up to 1.4m Other sizes available on request.
